This is a tool designed to identify the strengths and weaknesses of mothers who are victims of violence placed in care centers, shelters, or who turn to specialised centres in order to make an initial assessment that allows operators to have a basic picture and gives useful indications for the achievement of objectives.
The instrument is a questionnaire designed to investigate 4 areas, each of which in turn identifies within it a number of sub-areas:
Area of awareness – personal experience, educational style, locus of control, educational model
Communication area – assertive, passive, aggressive
Relationship area – empathy, trust in others, effective relationships, network and social support
Emotions area – emotion recognition, emotion management, appropriate response, coping strategies
It was produced in two versions, the first consisting of 95 items and the second of 47 to make it easily adaptable to different application contexts.
